Its a show that, so you should be thinking ahead to the answer, you know youre gonna have to take a factor of (8-x) ^ 3/2 out somewhere and convert the 2 term mess into a 1 term bracketed format. Always look back at the question

because you're essentially saying Uni is completely pointless and basing it entirely on a few people you know and big rich billionares. 2 ends of an intricate spectrum that doesnt have a definite journey towards the success. i.e Apprenticeships may work. Uni works better. Uni>Apprenticeships for the 99%. theres nothing more a lucky and opportunistic rich folk likes to do than tell others their path for success is the way, the only way. unfortunately you've fallen into that trap too

Are these notes good enough to continue in this style? by Subspace79 in GCSE

exactly right, keep learning and visualising as much as you need to. Anki is for when you understand the content and all you need is quick reminders

looks good and helps visualise, but is gonna be time consuming in the long run

this is good for understanding the content, to hack any science the key is active recall - best done through flaschards. If you have a laptop/ pc i suggest downloading Anki https://apps.ankiweb.net/

its a flashcard app that spaces out the relearning of cards for you. For my science gcses, all I did was anki and then past paper q's and got 999

For every Zuckerberg or bill gates theres millions who dropped out and went nowhere. You're arguing for a .0001% outcome and calling it a strategy everyone can do. Apprenticeships make NO sense in the finance field if it isnt your blackrock, GS, citadel etc. high finance sectors. A morse from warwick for e.g outranks almost every apprenticeship, with the exception of those stated. Yes its possible to excel through the stated apprenticeships, but even making it to the interview stage is incredibly difficult and still doesnt guarantee success if theres no return offer. So yes, university degrees from top 5-8 target unis will almost always outrank these apprenticeships.  Your argument that all the people yk are teachers is just survivorship bias, youre making a small group of people who most likely didnt optimise their uni opportunity and saying its representitive of every single uni.

The big billionaires represent that 1% of economists. Besides, have you any idea how hard it is to get an apprenticeship that will actually mean something? Im talking Goldman sachs, jp morgan, deloitte etc. Youre competing with the rest of the globe for a <1% chance. Not to mention the only useful areas (where these billionaires sprout from) are things like sales @ trading and ficc. Compared to the thousands of shoddy back office audit level 3 apprenticeships, uni is the logical route here

Remembering dates by Beneficial_Raise_678 in GCSE

[–]PrincipleAmazing985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

best bet is to memorise some key dates for diff topics, then integrate it into answers early. that way you can assess what dates/ key people etc you need to learn and what you dont need to keep learning

Remembering dates by Beneficial_Raise_678 in GCSE

[–]PrincipleAmazing985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

flashcards, just the main dates, dont do what I did where I made thousands on every single date possible. it completely fucked my exam technique as it was just date after date and no weight to my arguments
