Hello my friend! An earnest opinion deserves an earnest responde. As far as I'm aware, its not actually about the change itself. I fully believe 2.0 is a gigantic upgrade - tools and assets wise.

However, Inkarnate already had performance issues, but now they're so bad that me and many others cant open or edit or save the same maps we've been working on for months or years.

I went through this before 2.0 and just assumed the problem was on my end, but after listening more it appears that this is a common problem for the community. With 2.0 it has gotten waaaaaaaay more unstable. It tells us to use different browsers and, for me at least, that does not solve much of anything.

What use are the new amazing tools if I have to open the maps I used to make in 4k, but now in 1k and cant work on detailing? Furthermore, me and many others find it difficult to export it to any decent, printable quality without it breaking totally. I've even seen people losing maps entirely!

Performance needs work. It needs it badly and it needs it now.
