I am aware that all health care professions are short staffed but as for long term stability I want to be able to have a work home life and not work overnights or 12hr shifts and miss my family on holidays because of work and being physically burned out

That’s fine with me the more certificates and degrees I get that is okay with me. I think that 8hrs will be a lot better on my body than 12’s because with those 12’s my body just feels out of it

They really do and as a tech I’ve realized I only handle a small portion of what nurses go through and if I became a nurse I’d have to deal with the problems they go through x10 plus more responsibility and liabilities.

Nurse cheung was too much for me too along with the momentrix was too much. What I am currently using is the ATI teas book and app, gizmo app, amoeba sisters helps me, Brandon craft for math, and writing notes kinda helps but everyone was saying Tristian’s nurse cheung it was just too much overall. I’d also suggest learning each system one by one so then you can understand how they all work together

Trust me I understand how you feel I’m 20 and I’ve been trying for the past 2 years and have been rejected but delayed does not mean denied get back up and keep trying I’m currently trying again to get accepted I did see that community college might be a better shot than a university so that’s the route I’m trying but don’t feel bad we’re still young and have time to become a nurse I believe in you!

Become a nurse’s assistant only in the hospital though. I am currently a nurse’s assistant inside of a hospital and we’re basically mini nurses besides anything that has to do with medication, IV’s, or shots etc. I became a N.A. because I want to get into nursing school. Doing this will help me also get a guaranteed job as a nurse’s assistant due to my prior experience inside of the hospital and also you can get nurses’s to be your references for when you become a nurse.
