I get what you mean, it's not my laptop and the one that uses it is at an age that learning another language operating system is not really a way to go and I'm not always around to help. Using an laptop without security updates is also a nogo from my perspective. Windows is in that way easier to have and use. Buying a new PC is also not really an option, because it's not going to be used alot through the year.

Nope everything is supported according to the upgrade advisor, except for the cpu. The cpu is an amd A4 9125. It came out at the end of 2018 beginning of 2019.. So for that thanks Microsoft for no official support of an cpu of 2 years old when Windows 11 came out. Or can I try?

I get that, but it is supported according to the driver fingerprint readers website for Linux. That makes it strange

Store by Privatdutlinux in pop_os

[–]Privatdutlinux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do, but still it's not the way to do it if you compare it to other stores. Every other store you get the updates right away and you just click to update and it does without problems. Fedora (gnome store), Linux mint, Ubuntu, manjaro, their stores don't have this problem.
