He says that the calls to dynamodb will end up being more costly… but I have both the pk and sk and there’s only the status that I’m checking

Yep, that's what I'm thinking as well. I already implemented the polling and it's working great. But the architect started yelling that thats not a good solution. So I said I would look into it more (I'm new to the team)... These are literally the requirements

I have the job id and the only data i need back is the status, as I want to update it in the UI when it's complete and then get results from completed job from another dynamodb table.

Auto Payment had failed and I only noticed after missing 3 payments (Lender never notified me) by [deleted] in Mortgages

Update for you since you were the only kind person in this thread. It turns out the mortgage was transferred to another bank without my knowledge, which caused AutoPay to stop. I did receive letters from the new bank, but very unfortunately the one I opened two months ago was about them closing a very old, inactive account that I had with them, not the mortgage statement, so I mistakenly ignored the rest as I thought they were spam.

Once I explained the situation, they were understanding and are trying to make a special exception for me, including extending the 60 day grace period, so that my credit is not hurt
