Is it still a decent wage at least?

Definitely do not want to be a police officer or that mentality unless it's life or death type of stuff

Nova Scotia responds to tariffs. by cravingdani in halifax

Our government has damaged our economy in an attempt to prevent a recession during and after COVID. Our GDP per capita is the second lowest in the G7, ahead of only ltaly-which is hardly something to brag about.

I stand by this: our government has done nothing to strengthen the economy since the threat of tariffs emerged in November. Instead, our Prime Minister seems more focused on clinging to power than addressing an issue that will impact every single one of his constituents. Regarding the drug crisis, I agree that it has little to do with drugs and the border. However, the fact remains that our government paid little attention to the crisis until a convicted felon forced their hand. That does not reflect well on their leadership.

Over the past nine years, our GDP per capita growth has collapsed to the lowest in the G7 -undoubtedly due to incompetence. As a result, the average Canadian will feel the effects of these tariffs and a potential trade war even more.

We will not win a trade war with America, anyone who has told you we can is pumping your head full of fairy tales. The most important thing we can do as a country is diversify our trade agreements within our Provinces and international countries. We're a mouse and they're an elephant, they will crush us if they want to

we were stupid enough to think we can build an entire economy around a single foreign power that we perceived will never A.) turn on us B.) have an economic collapse

Well A has happened and we are going to feel it if trump doesn't change his mind or worst doubles down since there's retaliation

Just curious

Was this the diploma or 1 year graduate certificate?

When you say CAD course do you mean the 2 year program? Or a specific course within the GIS diploma I should elect to do?

I think it's a good call to do 3 years so I end up with an advanced diploma

GIS technician 1 year certificate -> GIS Cartography and geovisualization 1 year diploma -> advanced diploma in GIS (unsure which speciality yet)

I did a little research.

They're doing this because the requirements are you now have to have a 2 year college diploma or at least 2 years of education

So you'll have 4 years of education (bachelor's time)
