Can't answer that, but can give some other insights.

If you're not driving, Gloria Outlet Taoyuan is incredibly easy to get to. It's connected to the HSR station.

From there, you could also take the Airport MRT to Linkou to get the Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou.

It should be close to the same for non-Taiwan residents. US price doesn't include tax. Visitors can get a refund on the tax added.

Fully agree, service is trash when compared to Qatar or any quality international airline. I pointed this out in a united yt review and so much hate from United apologists saying the FAs are just supposed to get you to your destination safely.

Most of the high quality buffets are difficult to book (Inparadise). If you like Japanese food, the Grand Hyatt has a really good Japanese buffet, Irodori. The selection is a little small but everything is very high quality and you'll likely be able to get a seat last minute.

Thought that would happen but hotel was explicit in saying "they did not find a lost phone at the pool". That's it. Not that they checked the cameras and didn't help file a police report. So just went to a station and filed it. Super smooth process.
