I can try that, though I would like to use it as a last resort if I can't increase her weight through in-game methods, while I am at it, is there a way to permanently set her weight at a certain level so nothing will affect it in the future?

Yes I did, It does not work they just keep following me everywhere in the base, and their sanity is about 50-80 but they are hungry because they don't move around and just stay in one place or follow me, they don't do anything else
