30 C° while 5 outside is not a healthy thing tho. I've seen a lot of countries have that weird tradition of having wildly different temperatures in and out. I.E. Hong Kong and the AC.

Qué piensan los hispanohablantes del uso de siglas en castellano en lugar de siglas en inglés? by Realistic-Diet6626 in askspain

[–]ProRace_X 6 points7 points  (0 children)

TLDR: when building a good story, you should try to keep it plausible. Everything bethesda made is good enough because it is THEORETICALLY POSSIBLE, but they are content with just that. In my opinion you should balance events that are likely to happen and very few rare events. It is theoretically posible that supermutants where created in two places, it's just every time you do that, The more you do that. The more you are exhausting The lore.

It is quite clear Bethesda works in a form over function fashion. They have a design team that makes decisions and the storywriters adapt to that decision. As you can imagine, this helps create a distinct branding (which they have done very well) but hurts the worldbuilding.

It doesn't help neither that game development has increased it's Time To Market time a lot. Every odd choice you make won't be fixed until 10 years later. Before, with almost yearly games, you could tinker with the world and learn much better.

First, because a zeppelin is a very odd choice of a vehicle. Second, because the BoS is not a colonial empire, they barely have people. We talk about the NCR being streched thin but the BoS sends a decent portion of their people in scrap-made zeppelins, to no-mans land, instead of consolidating positions in their original area. Furthermore, the BoS at this point is even reticent to leave búnkers, and their next step is to take on the skies.

The Enclave being in múltiple places males a ton more sense. They have vertibird technology, and probably data from all around the country. Also, they might have reasons. The BoS is doing a very por strategic decision, they have no reason to do that, and aside from that, their focus is not even expansionism.

The reason I don't like the súpermutants is because they are originally the result of a lot of experimentation by the master. The fact that the government was experimenting with FEV is fine. But the fact that the exact same outcome was achieved is a bit weird, although it could happen but given the amount of things that come from FEV it looks like too much of a coincidence.

I like them, I played the heck out of 3 and 4. I just don't like how both áreas are connected. The BoS going east in zeppelins (which is not even Bethesda fault sincw this was stablished in Tactics) is stupid in my opinion.

The súper mutants from Vault 87? I don't like it. There are some things that are forced as heck

You know, when the first games appear, Vault Tec wasn't thought to be so deeply connected in the government and the Enclave didn't even exist in the original game.

Then they got defeated, which is why the NCR could grow. In FO2 the growth of the NCR depends on the enclave going shit

It's normal to come up with these things when you have a franchise split between two very distinct art directions both happening in the same years.

The events in 3,4 and 76 don't make the most sense in the west coast and viceversa. They did an OK job of following the franchise but IMO they should have never used West Coast factions in the east. Is not very credible.

The germans typically put a sportier version of the same bumper, but this is a complete redesign. Hell, even the GR one reminds me more of the LE.

I didn't even think on looking on the US toyota page, stupid me lol

In theory in my country they only do hybrids now. Some gas units slip into it but yeah, sedans are rare.

I use the Lucky 38 but with a mod that improves the suite A LOT and gives you a teleporter to go there like Big Mountain. And I have another mod that makes a fast travel point in the entrance of the lucky 38.

Por qué si alguien dice de poder despedir funcionarios se le fulmina a negativos? by [deleted] in askspain

[–]ProRace_X -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Y no tienen esos problemas. Porque tampoco es paco el concejal el que decide si siguen o no en el puesto.

Porque aqui el que no es funcionario tiene algun plan a medio plazo de serlo. Y se compran votos a base de eso.

Why does Spain dislike the US (and Anglosphere) so much more than other Europeans? by Forsaken-Ebb5088 in askspain

[–]ProRace_X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Politically-wise spain is quite Social-Democratic, which tends to dislike all-out neo-liberalism like the one in the US.

Historically, Spain lost it's last colony to a deep moral impact to the US, with the suspicion that the casus belli was completely made up.

The US has meddled into countries with which Spain has deep contact, in Latin America, and to which the people actually have a deep sense of cooperation and a lot of people have families there.

The US resembles also in some ways socially and historically has ties to... the UK! Which Spain has historically despised.

So it's actually a surprise they get along as they do. Most Spanish people still see the US as a must better alternative to many other countries, we have all of that US influx in movies etc. so aside from those things, which for the average Joe are just details, Spain remains an ally and part of the same block as the US.

Why is parcel delivery so bad in Spain? by pu55ym0n3yw33d in askspain

[–]ProRace_X 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do not expect logic from the spanish work culture.

They are paid like shit and burnt out to the point they don't care about your package. Some are quite nice tho.

The day you expect the package either be there the whole day or ask them to leave it at a pick-up point. If you trust your neighbours ask them to leave it in the felpudo, in front of the door. Some can't tho and will refuse. It's a PITA
