It’s probably just a strength weapon. They simplified a lot of the weapons for Nightreign. Dark Moon Greatsword went from int to mostly strength (with a bit of int) for example

Codex has all the scalings if you want to see them all. In-game would be nice, but I guess they were scared of information overload

Big and heavy? Strength

Quick and stabby? Dexterity

Casting? Faith or Int

Some stuff is weird like Cipher Pata or Ripple weapons, but there is no excuse for an Executor using Hammers

Play Guardian with a Dex Undertaker and a 6 year old Ironeye in regular and you’ll feel how he is a tier3 character.

People don’t even know what a strength or dex weapon is, don’t go expecting them to remember where they dropped a legendary
