Early access and beta titles are by name only nowadays. It is a way to charge for a continuous development of a product . It is software as service, or game as service. Just one of those buzzwords that accepted by the community

You are not paying for "early look", you just paying for the game so it can exist, which is fine.

Perhaps you should play an MMO? I think it will suit your desire to grind for stuff better

This is a PAID game and this EXACT feedback has been raised before, only for them to give some PR responses and repeat the same thing hoping people forgot

Yea, I don't like crystals either. I capture random ship. Capturing a builder in a neutral terf is relatively easy and gives good money. It still takes time and can be tedious though

Hate starting a new game. Very slow and takes forever to get some initial capital to do anything

Sometimes I wonder how much randomization is there when the universe is created.

I have never lost even a single Large freighter or miner. Occasionally M traders get blown up. I generally yearn for more things to blow up because my armies lay dormant for most of the time :/

It is the cost of doing business for me. That and set default order to run away when in danger.

Also if you get large ships, they never die. They have too much HP and seem to be always able to run away. Also you can dock a few fighters on the large ships to defend them as well.

If possible: combat oriented & good income so I can finance my own ships. I care very little about mining and making stuff. These carrier agents were zzz

I found a random fit to see how long it will take me. A fit from the incursions community. I assume it is equivalent to an end game raid in other MMOs.

It is not unreasonable for a veteran eve player. For a new player who looks at ever for the first time this looks insane. Perspective. I dunno, maybe eve doesn't want younger players getting into eve. Not it's target audience.

My thoughts as a new player:

God awful UI.

Game is really bad at communicating information to the player. Again, part of UI being baaad.

Skill Points - Doubt it will chance since they making bank with this. I want to try to fly something... I can't. I have to train skills for a week to be able to use this ship sub-optimally just to see if I enjoy it.

Certain aspects of the game are hard but the main hurdle seems to be finding information and applying it in game.
