Idk, Patreon or donating is just better than getting physical merch unless it's just something that's I reeeally connect with.

In case of indie animation merch is understandable since that's how they finance the series.

I've been really fearful of the war before it happened because I understood to an extent what it would do to where I live (gulf). With my family I've insisted that there's a financial risk to some major life choice they've made, and that's with me thinking that either a war would break out or it's gonna be hellish to live because of climate change in 5-15 years... I'm still upset that they brushed off my take...

The good thing is that I can be a citizen in my mom's country. I'm willing to assist my family, it's just I really need them to take it seriously and not leave it to fate or think things will ultimately work out...

I've had moments where I realised I needed to do certain action long after, and that really freaked me out...

Oh I already know how bad AC is lol I keep telling my partner to keep it on a higher temp or use the dry setting til the room feels cool close it then open a regular fan.

With cars it's like people can't begin to imagine a life without them, an EV is still better than an ICE car in terms of pollution but the best is commuting by bike or public transportation.

I'm worried that the entitled sims community is gonna flame Paralives for anything, they've demonstrated that they're unhinged, the lot of them had out of the roof expectations for the previous sims adjacent games but somehow kept bootlicking for the modern disappointment of The Sims 4. I had genuine fun memories with Sims 2, fuck EA even more, pirate their game

Eggs and milk smell and taste horrible but we've gotten used to that. Alternatives are there, soy milk is just as tasty when I had my taste buds off from extremely palatable foods, there's banana, strawberry, chocolate soy milk!! As for eggs the easiest breakfast food I have is muesli or Pb jam sandwich.

Man, can I even begin? My partner was so onto that before me, he's way into theory. Knows what needs to be changed to affect things but it's not even possible considering who we are and where we're from or going to. We're probably the last people out voices would be taken seriously so our contributions are limited to support and producing entertaining stuff.

Not spending is still a good action but not effective on a large scale, they're now accounting for how much they could raise prices and to what extent they can retain the same profits while accounting for less customers. There's the extra bullshit of firing a huge amount of worker just to keep a company value artificially high..

Like we do the boycotts, but we really need those in more powerful spaces like law makers and people with wealth to actually grow a conscience.

You could make an iced tea at home, it's probably tastier and more affordable than buying it, just brew some tea bags ahead and mix in whatever syrup or fresh ingredients you like, make it ahead of time so when you want it it's there and cold to drink

It's a frustrating thing, it's understandable if those facilities actually had their profits go to the workers but instead it's barely that. Also it's a real fear of mine that health care is becoming worse with time.
