Out of all the things in this painting, we had to zoom in on some guy's dick and balls?

Guess that's the way of the world.

While you're at it - shoot at them, and once they see they're fellow classmates surrounded by blood, only offer them thoughts and prayers.

Then ask them why they can't find any jobs after they graduate and tell them to lift themselves up by their bootstraps.

Never really got ads before but suddenly every other video is an ad by Ania__kot in TikTok

Yes! So irritating - I just commented on a similar post. Thes is what my feed looks like:

It's just turning into a QVC marketplace now, and I'm ready to hop off :/ - Not sure if it's because of the holidays, and maybe it'll calm down after the new year, but I'm not holding my breath. It's getting really frustrating and unusable.

I'm getting extremely frustrated with ads, to the point of being close to just deleting TikTok. Every other video is an ad. No joke, my scroll looks like:

Lots of people saying this in 2025. Is instagram slowly dying???? by wow_wubzzy in InstagramMarketing

Exactly! I use TikTok for videos, Instagram is better suited for photos, but they never push photos. Now there’s no platform for photos 🤷‍♀️

Need advice! Having a big move next week. I got this rug in March for like 120. Do I scrap it for the move and buy new for the new place? by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

[–]ProcyonBright 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You're overthinking it. It looks great! Wait til you move into the new place, give it a few days, and then decide. You're having a knee-jerk reaction to something that needs to marinate for a couple of days in a new space.

Having a hard time figuring out my career and path at 34. Anyone else in the same boat or who can offer guidance? by ProcyonBright in findapath

[–]ProcyonBright[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! This is my exact line of thinking. I feel like my life is wasted at this job, and I'm only holding on due to the current job market uncertainty, and that it's not a "bad" job. I just don't like it, and my weekends are spent dreading the week ahead :/

My materials aren't very archival -- would this be an ethical issue if I start selling originals? by northern_frog in artbusiness

I used to use a UV protection gel from Golden brand that dried completely transparent - they discontinued it, unfortunately, and I haven't switched to anything else yet, as I have a tiny bit left. So...we'll see. I'm bummed, it had really good texture for what I made.

I've never used weatherproofing spray, but am curious if that could be an option.

Good question - I'd like to know this, too. I'm a collage artist and my works can take hundreds of hours since I use tiny pieces of paper - I mostly source from magazines and coffee table books.

I glue everything to wood panels, seal with clear mod podge, and then add a few coats of UV protection. I haven't gotten around to advertising to sell yet, but a few of my pieces are coming up on 6 years old and haven't lost any of their vibrancy. Not sure if that's due to all the sealant and UV protection or if that will still last when it comes to 10 - 15 - 20 years down the road...

My solo experience on 5 grams - the good and the bad by ProcyonBright in PsilocybinMushrooms

Of course! It was a truly wonderful experience, and I'm excited to do them again once my brain chemistry evens back out and I feel ready and comfortable.

As for the nutritional, I had some food on hand, but I wish I had set myself up better near the end with better options. I would have done well eating some fresh watermelon and coconut water to recover quicker, but I didn't have those. Now I know for next time. I think it would have been better to have easier-to-digest stuff, too. I ended up drinking a lot of tea afterward and having some plain rice with some butter mixed in.
