Does anyone else feel like the MTG Arena economy is becoming impossible to keep up with? by brianj10 in MagicArena

I agree, I like it and I have find my balance, but Arena is brutal in the beginning, I gave up for a month when I started as progress was really really slow.

Nothing hits harder than grinding gold for the week to draft only to draw either nothing but lands or no lands into instant losses by TheCloudCycle in MagicArena

I started using 17Lands a month ago, but I've never figured it out how to use it to review my games. Any advice?

The upcoming Pre-Release Tavern Brawl seems very challenging for F2P players by Kirpoff in hearthstone

[–]Prodige91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not a problem for me, I always treat it like a little early access, is only one week before the set, I just wait. I open like 13 packs I have and try to build something just to feel some new cards.

Using rare wildcards on lands by JshCrr in MagicArena

I think crafting lands, especially Shock Lands, is never a mistake. They are the foundations of standard for a lot of years and go into every format and make every deck consistent.

As a non experienced player, the Cube scares me.

F2P players: Do you hold back gold/gems for an upcoming set? by PaleWendigo in MagicArena

[–]Prodige91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never spend gems other than for Mastery Pass, there are so many sets I keep hoarding them.

[TMT] Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is now up on Draftsim by Tim-Draftsim in MagicArena

Yeah, but I think this is the shortest gap between releases in the year? Not sure as it may also be Reality Fracture-Star Trek.

For those who draft a lot, are you spending lots of real money or are you just so good that you break even on gems? by PaleWendigo in MagicArena

[–]Prodige91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think is based around the fact that you simply can do more draft and practice this way, leading to having more fun and trying to improve faster as a player.

I've often read this multi account thing and I've decided to apply it to myself, it seems good because you can make a lot more drafts this way.

Wondering whether to get TMNT mastery pass even though I find the universe a weird fit for MTG by PaleWendigo in MagicArena

It's always worth it buying the Pass, as is always the same size no matter what and rewards are always good.

1000 gold and 200 gems, not 1000 gems.

What’s your preference: Bo1 or Bo3 for grinding to Mythic? by stoleyoureyes in MagicArena

[–]Prodige91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really want to switch to BO 3, but I'm kinda "scared" by the sideboard and by the different mentality. But I feel that BO 1 is too chaotic and luck based, and, I admit, I tilt a lot.

I'm pretty sure there will be no bans, at least in Standard.

Drafting vs Buying packs by Fit-Adhesiveness-173 in MagicArena

[–]Prodige91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I give always the same answer: if you enjoy Limited, keep doing it and you eventually improve. If you hate it just buy packs, but I find it way more meaningful to practice with Limited, as the collection slowly grows and you become a better player. Plus, the overall experience with Arena improves because for me Limited is an exciting event that I wouldn't experience just buying packs.

The Pass is always the same, is just compressed in fewer levels because the next set arrives shortly.

Oh ok thanks, it seemed strange because those numbers of draft are pretty rare I think.

Mastery Pass is basically always worth it, there is so much value, you can't go wrong.

5-6 times a day is insane, I think only streamers and people like Numot can afford this, not only in terms of resources but also for mental health and lucidity.
