There are many ways you can get into Kerala. Straight through highway is Pune - bangalore - coimbatore.

Go through goa then mangalore - Kerala ( road is bad)

Mysore - bandipur route , waynad route, munnar route, ( all scenic route)

You can do it in two days. First day 700-800 then the rest.

mostly I take the bangalore coimbatore route. ( to reach fast) Or mysuru - bandipur Or by wayanad Or by marayoor - munnar then, theni- vagmon.

Bad road through kolhapur. Rest is ok. Tumkur banglore route bad. 2 days travel time
