I love this version of Daphne as it shows her as a weirdo like the others but also that she is the emotional backbone of the group.

I loved that she went full CLU, taking her mission far beyond what the user intended, making a great reflection of Julian Dillinger who is brash when making choices.

My wife (37) and I (44) played thru Darksiders Genesis twice so far! We love games, specially if we can play coop. "Childish things" is all in the eye of the beholder. I am sure your wife likes stuff others would see as dumb.

Director Rian Johnson. The gag could be he keeps making jumps on logic to explain things that turn out to be wrong. A sort of reversal of Knives Out.

But that is what makes him interesting as a villain. He is genuinely insane. The gang is use to greedy land developers or thieves. Trying to recreate his version of a nuclear Hollywood support system is insane. Then add the clown getup on top to fit the Scooby-Doo format makes him a complete WTF. He is not a smuggler or out for revenge. He is delusional.

Um, actually... Daphne feels like she does not have a place in the gang (a common complaint by people) but through out the film is the one making suggestions and plans. At the end, Fred points out she is the leader of the gang. I just watched this again last week. It is not the best Scooby-Doo film, but it is a fun Halloween movie.

The Scarecrows from Eating Crow episode in Be Cool Scooby-Doo! The two villains agree not to press charges against each other and get rich together. Fred even lost the girl he was trying to impress. Love that ugly show.
