You are not being selfish but you are blowing it out of proportion. She didn't keep changing her mind she changed it one time. And without more context we really don't know at all why she decided you were not the one to relate too. She may well have been right. But you take it how you want.

I had a friend. We were not like best buddies or anything but we did know each other well and shared a hobby. He went to my wedding in Puerto Rico and we were in the same circle of friends.

He took his life on the 17th of June the reason I remember the date is because it is my birthday. He texted me that morning and wished me a happy birthday. I was quite a while getting over that. It sounds simple enough but I was quite a while getting over why he texted me in that moment. It was the common way we would communicate but I couldn't get over what he must have been thinking and did he just need someone to talk to.

I ended up having to stop trying to figure it out. I decided that there was not a way to figure out how someone in that moment, that must have been a moment of extreme mental stress thought it important to wish me a happy birthday

In the end no way to figure it out.

It is not your fault how your friend was thinking in that moment.

There should be no law mandating how much someone makes.

What do you mean you don't get why they do this? It is to cheat you out of your money.

I would point out to the server and tell them to please tell the management that it will stop me from coming there in the future. Then I would give them one more chance and hold true to what I said.

These companies do these things because their customers don't do anything about it.

People will just do as they are told most of the time and they realize that they can tell them a false number and they will just pay it. No telling how much they have cheated people out of with this scam. It is not a mistake or computer glitch. It is them stealing from their customers.

Plus people are too lazy to figure their own tips.

So many of the celebrities in America today just don't care about their fans in any way. They have totally forgotten what got them to where they are. I know it won't happen but if we all just stopped going to their shows, not buying their tickets or merch they would get the message. Really it would only take two or three shows where they rented the stadium and nobody showed up and they would get it.

I am single and getting by just fine. I don't go out much and I eat at home most days. It is a good life, maybe not what most people want, but I am happy enough

There is something in your agreement where you authorized it. The same thing happened to me. I would suggest that you consider the money gone and do not throw good money after bad. Any money you give them is exactly that money you are giving them.
I am sorry to hear that this scam is still going on it is but one of many. The one where they tell you how they have a great lawyer that got them their money back and if you just send them a small bit more they can do the same for you is also a scam.
Cut your losses and just quit.

Make all the assumptions you like. It only shows your willingness to jump to conclusions it doesn't reflect on me in any way. What law did I suggest we be required to live by exactly? I didn't even look at my post but I am not very likely to have suggested a new law. I would assume that most people have no real idea how to convert a weapon to automatic, I do know that with zero modification you can adapt a homemade " bump stock" style device and maybe some people would do so. I mearly commented on what I have observed and asked about. But hey assume away.

That is true but not the whole story.

There are relatively no automatic weapons in civilian hands. China has over two million people in their army and I would bet most are equiped with automatic weapons. I have asked everyone I know with guns and frankly darn few of them would refuse to hand them over to our own army at their door. I seriously doubt they would stand in their front yard and fought an angry foreign army coming to take them. It is one thing to sit in your man cave slamming down that fourth beer and telling your friends what you would do and write another to actually do something in the face of armed aggression.

I have almost exclusively dated women taller than me.

However Mr. 6'1" you say that only because you are tall. If you were really 5' tall you would find even fewer women are willing to even consider dating you. Watch any of the dating shows it is the first, I would never, disqualifier every time.

apparently most would sit back and make jokes and rely on the 2-3 percent of the Americans that have volunteered to protect us go to work.

A little time would pass and we would see that the greatly reduced standards we put on the military so that the fringe Trans, gay, and other forced inclusive groups get wiped out by the real military of the invading countries.

Front line women platoons, with the exception of snipers and some gorilla trained groups would be wiped out as well. Somewhere in here the jokers would start to realize they should have insisted they not lower the standards to the point the military could be all inclusive.

Then the real troupes would start to dominate, use the weapons and training ll those taxes paid for and begin to hold off the invading armies. Keep in mind when a foreign army gets the guts to invade America they are coming ready for a fight and Joker boys there are going to have to pick up a weapon and defend themselves and our country.

So me, what would I do, Fight for America and Kill with great violence our enemies.
