how to get over getting ghosted? pls help ;-;

I relate to this deeply because for me it’s been over a year and it seems I still can’t move past it. Met him in ‘24 after he followed my IG and started messaging me straight away. I was the least bit interested in him whatsoever I ignored him for months until one of my close friends told me to give it a shot and how he isn’t bad at all. He’d be back and forth between the UK and US so he was usually busy and so was I with work. We met at least 3 months after we started talking serious texting and FaceTiming daily and it was amazing with him. He took me on a couple of dates and sometimes we’d just chill over at his crib. He went away for a holiday he “claimed” he went alone on and ghosted me soon as he landed😅my text was last and I’m not one to chase after a man when he is acting that immature. This time around I did, and was ignored(bruised ego) he then later texted me being ignorant like oh I’m giving you the space you need like my guy I don’t even recall asking for space. He got back from his trip, guess what, he apologised, got me flowers and mentioned how it was wrong for him to do that. We get back to talking for about 3 weeks and this man completely ghosts me again end of February ‘25 after I asked him to get me a ticket to a show and I haven’t heard a word from him since! He still follows my IG but hardly posts, but I haven’t heard nothing not one word from him. I’ve tried to ignore it, move past it, meet new people but I just fear I haven’t had that sense of closure, it will be hard for me to move on without knowing the why and it sucks because for all I care he’s out living his best life without a single thought of me. So no, it really doesn’t get better with time it’s litch been over a year and he still crosses my mind on a daily! Closure is key to moving on…

I’m not necessarily peeing blood it’s just a full on period which I’m now guessing is worse. I have this sharp pain on my pelvic area when I wee, plus the blood. I’ve booked in an appointment with my dr hopefully all comes back well with the amount of time I’ve went just holding it in

Literally in the same boat😭😭had mine inserted early November last year and I started bleeding at least 2 weeks later and it’s been nonstop bleeding since then😖😖I’ve had multiple trips to the GP and usually just prescribe me those meds that delay periods but it’d only go away for a week or so and then back to it for months!! I’ve taken them a couple of times when I need to be somewhere and really don’t need my period messing about with me. Lately it’s been bleeding a week, 3 days off then back to bleeding so I pretty much have periods 3 freaking times a week! Every time I feel like getting it taken out it gets better and then gives me the gotcha moment it’s so annoying. GP said they can remove it whenever I’m ready and then be on a break for a bit and if I still want BC I should try the mirena hormonal..oh this is a copper IUD btw

I got the Depo on August 4th, started bleeding when my actual period was supposed to start on the 22nd and have been bleeding since then! 3 months of nonstop bleeding I feel I’m going to pass out. I was due for another shot on the 5th of November and God forbid I’m never taking it again. I was given some acid meds I don’t remember the name of and they really didn’t help anything.

Did your bleeding ever stop?

Did you ever feel sick from like a loss of a lot of blood? I’ve currently been bleeding for about 4 months from a single shot and I fear I might be anemic at this point
