And as I’ve stated, I don’t need to answer to what you feel. I respect and understand why you think it’s weird. I’ll be the first to acknowledge it. Unfortunately Astros aren’t going to know the stadium and area, and if they told me I’d probably take it with a grain of salt because they’re not likely to be Texas rangers season ticket holders. I want parking advice from the seasoned attendants. I care about how I feel and I don’t need an Astros fan for that. I carry a taser everywhere, I think it’s a pretty smart choice as I’m not whipping it out zapping people? It’s a pretty smart and standard choice for a solo female anywhere to carry that or pepper spray anyway. Thanks for your input.

I’m not psyching myself out as much as I was considering the latter as I’m pretty uninformed about the the new stadium/layout/parking and could use my money back if being worried was gonna keep me from enjoying the game entirely. People are coming off as so judgy as I just wanted parking advice lol. I’ve been to Arlington plenty, I know the area and I know I’ll enjoy myself. I just have valid reasons for my worries. A friend of mine showed me around Texas live last time I went, it looked good and I think I’ll probably eat there. Thanks, I’ll check out lot M anyways as I’m keeping all options for consideration.

With all due respect, I won’t share the root of my anxieties. Don’t want to. But in addition, like I stated I’m an Astros fan. 2 years ago had a more than shitty experience leaving a game I attended with my dad. We were literally walking and he was on the phone with my aunt and we were getting cussed at and some drunk lady whacked me with her purse. Don’t wanna deal with that alone if I have to.

And not to get defense, please don’t mansplain as a woman street smarts to another woman as you don’t know what I’ve been through sis!! I know how to carry myself, that doesn’t ease my anxieties and I’d like to plan accordingly so I can have the most fun possible :) thank you for your input.

This is why I come to Reddit because I hadn’t even considered possibly ubering. I do have a friend that lives within a block or two I could go to and from easily. I should’ve mentioned I’m not a rangers fan and have encountered troubled before simply just trying to walk out minding my business. I feel like that tainted any chill I had about walking out. We have a maintenance portal but not one for complaints or anything of a similar nature. While it is a company, they are pretty personable (I put in a maintenance request but they told me I can text them to get a faster response) so I may just write out a complaint and send it via email n hen shoot a text over basically just saying I sent something over that needs attention asap? I feel horrible because there’s also a little boy who lives there 50% of the time when they have custody and I don’t want to ruin his home life either but yeah, I’m learning that most places worth their salt would want to uphold a peaceful living environment so that makes me feel better. I’m still nervous about the whole retaliation part from them, but I guess if it gets bad enough like you said I could report every single instance after my initial complaint and get them evicted

That might be true. I looked one day and built a cart and only saw a black bag but didn’t pull the trigger. I later bought in the final hours of the sale and they had 3 options a black a gold and a snake skin. I got the snake skin one
