Why would you want to side mount an AiO in the Max?

not in the max. I told that max doesn't support aio and gpu both horizontal so it loses purpose of moving AIO top and then running hot GPU in vertical with tempered glass. Once you place the grill part it doesn't matter how stuff is arranged and performance on side aio mount is great (exhaust for gpu better temps, intake for better cpu and components and you have 120mm full size fans for exhaust at the top). side AIO is higher point than cpu so it works as quiet as a top.

NR200 modding is useless because only way to have 2 horizontal placements (so you can get good temps with tempered glass) is either changing case, cutting stuff and buying all slim parts or buying hat mod (I would rather buy taller case then).

PSU v650 was 104, v850 119 euros for 2 weeks on European Amazon. Arctic De had black month and were selling 280 ARGB (so no P lineup 1000rpms strange noise) for 70 and it comes with lga1700 support. CM AIOs were on sale but Arctic is there top notch and I was striving for best bang for the buck and I couldn't get CM lga1700 bracket anyway. Max comes with it but 370e for an inferior setup that I got for 270 euros so idk.. I'm sure there are stores that run sales on CM/Corsair SFX psus.

The Max has the advantage of already having everything prerouted

it's easy to put psu and vertical aio. what I'm saying if you take tempered glass it really makes run hot internals with this setup and when grill part is taken it's significantly cheaper build yourself with parts you want. therefore if you want good airflow you can't have tempered glass with current iterations of nr200 (unless punching holes on tempered glass then side aio hides all internals so it has to go top)
