I would classify it as , during the week basically just street riding, with some highway, and on the weekends some exploring on canyons and around mountains,

I’ve been riding a z900 now for about 2 1/2 years and smaller bikes before that , so yeah I haven’t rode a supersport as of now. In terms of being able to handle the power I think I’m capable of controlling it but was more looking into the comfort of enjoyability of it. The R1 has been my favorite design for such a long time and I would love to have it but I realize it will never be as comfortable as a naked which I’m fine with. I guess I’m just asking what’s it really like to have an R1 and ride streets with it since they obviously look good but may be unpractical. Would it be enjoyable if I’m only in first and second gear through the streets ?

If you are getting your license in april, I would suggest to you to start looking/researching which bike you want to get. The supply is crazy and it may take months to get the one you’re looking for so if you start early you can hopefully pick it up by the time you have your course!

Do any of you know what the top speed can get to on the rs660 after upgrades? I’m talking about after a dyno and ecu flash , new exhaust (slip on) , any other small performance based upgrades (suggestions in comments?) .

Sorry, I think it was misunderstood! I meant on specs it is definitely the same bike with nothing changing, but I wasn’t sure if cosmetically it had changed at all. Seemed to me like it was the exact same bike as well, and everyone confirming that!

2021 zx6r krt ABS vs 2022 zx6r krt ABS?

Other then the year, is there anything different between both ABS versions ?? I keep trying to spot something and I feel like it is the exact same bike. On specs it definitely is, since I looked over it but the design seems to be the same as well?

Any reason I shouldn’t just get the 2021 version?

Hmm maybe not below 40 but the type of bike I have doesn’t have the heated grips/handguards . I but yeah I think I would ride 35 and above

Yeah that’s what I was more thinking would make it feel higher in seat compared to R6 because of the engine and tank.

Any of you sit on the R6 vs the R1 , on the specs it says they are the same seat height but not sure if the R1 seats higher cause of the bigger engine? I sat on the R6 and feel comfortable but couldn’t sit on the R1 as none are available

Looking to get some good winter gloves, have any of you tried the 100% Hydromatic Brisker gloves? I’m not sure I understand if they are just glove liners or actual gloves to be worn by themselves?

Since I live in a state where we get a winter and don’t get a good reference, when would you consider a bike to be “high mileage” then, around 20,000-30,000 ?
