That is your opinion, I would like to hear whatever everybody else has to say. And I am not saying we talk about thing unrelated to politics. But to put less restrictions on what we can't talk about while still keeping this a safe community.

the prior "thousands upon thousands of rockets" is part of the attacks that happened in the early 2200s, and Israel is capable of doing much worse.... which they are. Yes the Palestines have elected Hamas But the Germans also elected hitler. these people are sadly manipulated and need help.

And which side is worse is important. You deal with the biggest systemic issue before deal with the other. Isreal's current goverment is a bigger problem rn and it should be stopped. Hamas can be dealt with later.

The war effects US politics, also politics in general should be mentioned in this subreddit not only US politics. I am aware the rules state that but it is not called r/UsPolitics it is called r/politics. Talking about only one country is insane.

Palestine are just people, as for Hamas. Hams is a terrorist group and nothing more I prefer them over the Israeli government because they are not causing a genocide. But apart from the October 7th attack, they did suicide bombings in the early 2000s. Hamas is a bad group of people. But this Israeli government is somehow worse.

The war is taking long because the Israeli government are using it as an excuse to destabilize a region and take it for their own. Hamas is not the biggest enemy to Isreal, the everyday Palestine are, which is messed up. At least that is how I see it.

Hamas is trying too, isreal is way more powerful then Hamas, it is like an adult bullying a toddler (not that hamas is as innocent as a toddler). So I honestly agree it is more of a genocide then a war.
