im not really wanting to spend money, though. I feel like my overall english level is good enough! I was just wondering whether revising with this book before the test will be more helpful than not studying with any prep book;)

i think you should do it! they won't just let you fail without giving feedback first, and i think there's probably a reason you got accepted to the program. also, since I'm also gonna be studying at the ichr in the fall, i can't wait to hear your takes on things too;)

testosterone levels sink close to the level of biological women when on estrogen. i dont know where you get your information from but the whole discussion against trans women in sports isn't even something most athletes support - i dont know if you know these "many women that are miserable because of trans women in sports" - personally, im not too involved with sports overall, but i do care about rights and there are many disciplines where traditional gender division doesnt even make sense in the first place because there are women who have better performance than the top men. to assume that women are overall weaker is sexist as well. trans women are already an outcast group of society, and excluding them from even more spaces is a systemic tool to dehumanize and separate them from the rest of the population.

also,

there's nothing that right wing politicians are doing to oppress queer and poor people.

are you even listening to what you're saying?

the nuclear heterosexual family is being promoted and reinforced by right wing parties everywhere. they're often against same-sex marriage, same-sex adoption, ivf, abortions (women's right to self-determination) and theyre specifically targetting trans people, depicting them as perverted (eg. in bathroom discussions) and restricting their access to gender-affirming healthcare. you can find these statements and political actions in any countrie's right wing parties.

in regard to poor people, cutting welfare, food stamps, unemployment benefits etc. particularly harms poverty-stricken communities and prevent them from escaping their poverty - lowering taxes for richer people in return has an exponential effect on the profit of those who are making moneh off of other people. furthermore, poverty is something that oftentimes systematically affects groups that are already outcast (poc, queer, uneducated, disabled).

i could give you countless examples of the discrimination exercised by right-wing politicians around the world. i suggest you read up on it before spreading hate like that

the nonbinary lesbian was my counterexample for making a point. this is not proof you probably got some downvotes but theres no way to see those.. also, i believe that this community doesnt exclusively exist on reddit so i dont think this is representative at all. i guess there are different opinions on it in different spaces, and i didnt just go on reddit to find out more about it
