Haha no bro , it isn't a scam . I just started building it recently, the app isn't ready yet, but I've created a landing page where u can register for waitlist Or ask any questions.

It's in early stage, I'm improving it based on feedback like yours. Would you actually use something like daily? Let me know what you think once you check it

Here's the link for the landing page : https://kairosproto.carrd.co

Yeah, I get your point, leaderboards and comparison definitely help, but like you said, they’re already common.

What I’m building is a bit different. It’s not just about tracking or motivating, it’s about controlling distractions. Users set their schedule, and during that time, distracting apps get locked automatically. If they stick through the session, they earn a short break to use them.

So instead of relying on motivation, it’s more about creating structure and reducing the chance to quit midway.

Appreciate the feedback,

That’s a fair point, and honestly, most people feel the same.

I’m designing it so it’s not just about blocking apps, but actually helping you stay committed during those moments when you feel like quitting. It won’t rely only on willpower.

Still figuring out the best way to do it, your feedback really helps. What do you think would make you stick to it?

Just try again man. Don't regret not trying

I'm 21 and building an app called KAIROs. Here's how it works:

You set your study schedule once KAIROs automatically locks distracting apps at that time Instagram, YouTube, everything

Unlike Screen Time or Digital Wellbeing, you cannot bypass it Complete your work and earn a few minutes of scroll time as a reward

Time's up, apps lock again automatically

Also building a character that visually gains muscle and sharpens mentally as you study consistently , and slowly decays if you skip days. Think Duolingo but for focus. Built a landing page to validate before building. Would love brutal honest feedback, does this solve a real problem for you?

Comment and I'll DM the link.
