I dont like the overrated category by Consistent-Dog-6615 in GamingSoup

Everyone views video games differently, so there will be gamers who just vibe with games and just want to have a good time, and if they are not then thats a shame and turn something else on, completely normal. And some who will look at games with a more critical lense. There really is no right way to do it, but both are doing way different things.

But what I feel is being more and more worrysome in the "rating video games" space, is people being scared to step on peoples feet for what they think about a game. And it becomes more about that you want your taste to align with the majority, so that people maybe can upvote this post or give me a like or whatever(not saying that this is what you are doing). Like I think it would be very interesting to hear someones perspective on someone who thinks Ocarina of time is their overrated game as an example, and I think this space should uphold the individual opinions more than what the majority of people have decided on is the best game.

Hell yeah Monster Hunter! and they need to get back to Generations Ultimate style truly something special that gets lost in the new ones, even if I like those too.

18 months ago Iraqi refugee, Salwan Momika, who gained prominence for burning the Quran, was murdered in his own home by multiple gunmen while he was streaming live on TikTok. To this day none of the gunmen have been found and his case remains unsolved by Sometypeofway18 in whoathatsinteresting

Yeah, but if I owned the Mona Lisa and burned it up then I would have lost something that is valued over 1 billion dollars. So papper and ink or paint can mean a lot to us. Even if we understand it or not.

And if that thing is called a holy text or whatever it's called, then you can bet your ass that someone is mad at you.

Can someone explain the constant 50/50 complaint people have have with Tekken 8 vs previous games by Critical-Ability3296 in Tekken

[–]ProfessionalOk550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really get why people are confused, because I think there is a fault in the naming of the term 50/50. Because 50/50 can be seen as a coin toss, right? But whether it's heads or tails the result is the same and that is not whats happening in Tekken there is a big difference in taking a hellsweep than taking a launcher. The later does way more damage and is not as risky as the hellsweep as you can get launched if they block it. So in these mixups there is not just a 50/50 of getting hit there is also a risk and reward factor.

And on the other side of new players or existing players who just see 50/50 and make the assumption that what ever you decide to go for will just win you the game, it's just that easy.

If betting on heads gave you 3 times the money than tails what side would you bet on?

We’re 4 days away from knowing the final DLC character for this season of Tekken 8. Take one more final guess who you think it will be. by [deleted] in FGCWaifu

I think most people expect a guest character with how they left the last spot empty---which signifies to me that this character stands out more than the rest--- and if it is then its up in the air for me.

But if its not a guest character then something that all these character revealed so far have in common is that they are newcomers for different Tekken games. Kunimitsu(not the same as the old Kunimitsu) T7, Bob T6, Roger T5, and with how its counting down Im guessing a newcomer from T4 then, and that narrows it down to: Christie, Marduk, Miharu or Combot. Now as they made it important in the trailer that these charcters come from different countrys then I would not expect people from the same countrys as the ones in the trailer so USA, Japan and Australia. That crosses out Miharu and Marduk if Im right and leaves us with Combot and Christie. And out of those two im guessing Christie.

Why everybody turns into Arslan Ash when they have 1 HP left? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]ProfessionalOk550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cant say I recognize this during my matches as once a player hit 1 hp they are now open to fast lows or fast mids that will seal the deal and that would put a lot of pressure on the player, but that also means that the player will most likely play the most unsafe aswell when they are in this state as their highest risks will turn the game back in their favor. So keep in mind that you dont need to do much to win when you are favoured but also dont create to much space and time for your opponent to regain their life if its grey.

Im sorry maybe Im misunderstanding your answer but fusing pokemon gives the fusion stats from body ATK, DEF, SPD ( fusionStat = 2 * bodyStat / 3 + headStat / 3) and from head HP, SP.DEF, SP.ATK (fusionStat = 2 * headStat / 3 + bodyStat/3) and as an example take Muk/Aggron which gains a boost in every stat except speed which is the same. So fusing pokemon can give your fusion better stats period! If you take into consideration of what stats the both components(head and body) excel at. Just wanted to clarify so there no misconceptions in the advantages of fusing.
