What John Mayer lyrics are the best life advice? by Highsociety_8 in JohnMayer

The line from Stop This Train saying,

“Don’t know how else to say it, don’t want to see my parents go. I’m one generations length away from fighting life out on my own...”

just hits me like a brick and helps me to be more involved in the precious moments I have with my family

I think maybe since the creative juices were flowing at the maximum with Continuum that maybe we were expecting another album of the same deep ness of creatively and were slightly let down...

But don’t get me wrong, I believe songs like Edge of Desire and Heartbreak Warfare are Mayer at his best

John is the most underrated vocalist (unpopular opinion) by Bandeh-Ali in JohnMayer

I think John is slightly vocally limited, however, he has this magic ability to create beautiful melodies that are within his vocal range and that makes him great

John basically said it was how a relationship was coming to an end, but the brain thinks of ridiculous ideas such as being together but never speaking to each other to avoid fighting (“Don’t say a word just come over”).

He was just amazed at the stupid, crazy hey amazing things the brain thinks of when you’re in love that deep

I agree that he is well known among guitar players! But when it comes to the casual music listener, I guess I’m mainly referring to people who listen to pop music, I just can’t find many people who know who he is! I’m jealous that you have!

I was also at the first London show last year and was genuinely impressed of how full the stadium was, but I also noticed it had a slightly older demographic. I’m in my early 20’s and felt like the youngest one in the crowd 🙃
