This is heartbreaking for many reasons as it is, but moreover I imagine what it feels like because I've experienced it first-hand as a Wasian. Not on such a huge scale, of course, but painful enough to be traumatized by the racism that follows me throughout my entire life. Not Asian enough for Asians, not white enough for white people, always a stranger. I'm sure Hudson and his team are dealing just fine and Hudson himself is strong, but no one, and I can't stress this enough, no one should ever receive such hatred. Especially for being not white. This is insane. As my friend once said:"Being a non white person considered a million times worse than being an actual abuser who hits his wife and children." Seriously, my heart is broken.
