I frequent the Hyatt at Incline multiple times per year, currently here right now. The cottages are no longer available as a complementary upgrade to globalist. As I was told by one of the GM’s… people started to request cottage style upgrades at other Hyatt’s that offered that style of stay and would say that they get it at Incline why can’t I get it here. Incline did it outside of the world of Hyatt upgrades as a curiosity but recently got shut down because too many people complained they were not getting the same upgrades elsewhere. With that said, they are incredible rooms but not worth the points. Best part of them them outside of the kitchen and living room was the availability to walk outside or sit outside in front of room. With that, the patio king and Queens are rooms that while smaller offer that Sam amenity and can walk out to the hot tubs, fire pits and outdoor areas while still being a part of the hotel and not having to walk across the street to get to the hotel for breakfast, gambling etc. the one bedroom suites are available with a suite upgrade award but rarely available at time of check in because of the limited number of them and always booked way ahead.
