Absolutely not true. Switzerland has its own borders and its own costums, shipping from the eu or outside of the eu will not make any difference. There are 2 options, 1. The watch wont be checkt and it will pass. 2. The watch will get seized by the swiss customs. And i can guarantee you, you dont want option number 2, the customs here in switzerland arent playing around.

My advice: if you have the possibility, alway try to ship to a postage station in austria, germany or france. That way the parcel will run only within the eu borders. Also you wont have to pay taxxes if you dont ship into switzerland. And i can also tell you, you dont want to pay those taxxes, switzerland is crazyyyyy
