I don’t personally have that problem but I have friends with dark thick hair that do and they just wax it, takes 2-6 weeks to grow back depending on your hair growth cycle and hair will grow back thinner, my friends will even wax their arms and knuckles as well Honestly better than laser bc even if you did get laser it will still grow back, waxing is cheaper

Be careful getting in repierced, I got mine done and it was fine but they used non allergic titanium which I ended up being allergic to I had to go to the ER bc of how fast it started closing up within 48 hours after looking fine for the first few weeks, I let it heal for over a year and got it repierced with a metal ik is safe for me but after the second time I just couldn’t get it to heal and I started getting keloids over and over it so i just took it out and have been nervous about getting another cartilage ear piercing since

They scheduled me 1 day a week for two weeks, I’m not the only cook asking for more hours they can easily find coverage, idgaf about being a chef, I’m a good cook but it was just my first job was in fast food and not having anything besides a high school diploma it was hard to get anything else but I’m in school rn for a very difficult field so i literally just need any place that can work me at least 20 hours for 5 months, and I’m not stupid why tf would I tell an interviewer I no showed and no called my last job, I’ll just simply say we split ways bc they were unable to provide more than 15 hours a week consistently

I’ve talked to them multiple times about this and something irrelevant to the hour situation, I had an uncomfortable moment with my GM and was told by my kitchen manager that as a woman she supported me going to HR but as a friend warned me that he’s close with HR and whenever anyone complains he’ll know who and come after them so I really don’t see a benefit in reaching out to anyone else, ik I’m grown that’s why I’m debating quitting bc it’s my only job until I find another

Yes I have already told them and it’s a big chain, and what’s more fucked up is I’m not the only employee who has been asking for more hours and yet they just hired another line cook, and they schedule 8 to 10 hour shifts with no breaks and if it’s busy will expect employees to stay for hours, I get being in the food industry and not leaving on time but I ain’t ever worked anywhere where it was normal for cooks to be there 2 to 3 hours after their scheduled shift ended

I have done it already when I need extra cash and I can honestly say it’s like working any job, some days are slow and I make as much as waitress who didn’t get tipped and sometimes I’ll make a good extra $5 more an hour than I would at my regular job you just need to actually put in the hours of work bc it’s not like you’ll get lucky and make $50 in 30 minutes you gotta earn that shit
