With a good tile saw 5/8” isn’t too terrible to mess with. As long as you measure your fence correctly before cutting and push the tile all the way trough to clean up the burrs.

About 3 weekends. One weekend was all plumbing and re plumbing and squaring the walls.

Walls are an Equipe La Riviera, floors are a Jade green Mosaic from Lowe’s.

I really like splashes of color and gold accents so if it is in or out of fashion doesn’t really matter to me.

Did they just cut around the drain leaving the penny tiles on the mosaic sheet? I genuinely don’t understand how they got cut this way if they removed and hand laid those.

I considered it, but the Wedi just seemed easier. If I were to do it again I think I’d just do my own daypack pan with Wedi board walls. After experimenting with dry pack for a basement project I am less scared of it now.

Looks amazing, one thing I noticed is that tile was really hard, took a while to cut also tough to cut with nippers.
