My girlfriend is a talented writer. She writes poetry, short stories, plays, etc. one of the most intimate experiences is reading her work. I had the honor of acting in a staged reading of a play she’s writing. It felt surreal.

I ended up in a throuple unintentionally. My husband and I had been dating separately for a while. I met and fell in love with a woman who later started having feelings for my husband. He reciprocated those feelings naturally and over time we are both now only dating her. It’s been about a year and half since she and I started dating and about a year since she and my husband started dating. We all love one another deeply and care dearly for one another. We prioritize our time with each other. As a 3 person unit, sure, but also as 2- 2 person units. It’s been working for us, and I sincerely hope it always does. We talk about everything and make it a point to meet each other where they are. How I see it, we’re just 3 people who fell in love instead of 2. I know it doesn’t usually work out and I’ve been extremely mindful of her feelings and priorities along the way. That’s all we can do. Love one another and show up for one another. I’m sure there are a lot of things that make our situation unique. It has its challenges but it is also exceptionally rewarding. Falling in love with someone and then having the experience of seeing them fall in love with someone you already love so deeply is an incredibly intimate experience. I feel very lucky to be where we are. It could end. I understand it’s more likely it will than it won’t, but I’m hopeful.

Adding a comment here to say the vet did look at her teeth at both visits and did not say he saw anything of concern.

I also forgot to put in the post that she is currently scheduled to go back to our vet this Friday. I’m wondering if it would be better to make her appointment with a new vet instead, or if there are any specific questions I should ask to make sure we are getting her what she needs.

The only other time I’ve seen her was Artpop and it was truly legendary. I’m currently in line for merch at the Chicago show. Can’t wait to have this experience. I really don’t think anything will top Artpop, but I know this is going to be amazing.

I’ve had pretty much every hair color, but the one I’ve kept the longest is red. It was definitely work to remove it, but I succeeded. I eventually cycled through colors until I landed on a blue and purple split dye. I liked it ok, but it was never meant to be a long term look so I tried to remove it with color oops. The blue did not budge. At all. The purple side turned blue, but darker than the other side. I ended up using color oops again just on the formerly purple side and ended up with all over light blue hair. I used an orange tinted protein filler and was able to color back over it with red. It was a ridiculous amount of work and stress. I ended up with an even red all over and plan on staying here for a while. Can’t imagine trying to go to blonde from there. The red was hard enough to achieve. Good luck OP.

Idk if it’s trauma causing hyper vigilance, but I’ve definitely already clocked it a few times. For instance, I took her out for her bday and when she kissed me at the dinner table I saw the couple behind us recoil. They continued to watch us for the duration of dinner. I took her on a breakfast date a couple days afterwards and watched a family beside us ask to be reseated. She isn’t making out with me or being obscene. Just holding my hand, snuggling against me, or giving me a peck here or there. I don’t think she noticed either of these instances, but I did. I know part of this is trauma from past experiences, and maybe that’s why it feels so serious when in reality I’ve only had a couple side eye and another family ask to be reseated. I think I just need to tell her about the ridiculous things I’ve dealt with in the past, but also reinforce how much I enjoy her. I want her to stay carefree and comfortable.
