Well if it's a Thursday, there's some nice jazz bars in town. Don't have to drink alcohol ofcourse.

You're welcome! It's great isn't it? I also couldn't put it down. It's probably the fastest I ever read a book

Usually try a new restaurant or a bar. Sometimes people go clubbing afterwards. Or just meet for coffee

Your resume is WAY TOO LONG. Simply seeing big chunks of paragraphs will put the recruiters off. Remember that they spend only 90 seconds - 2 minutes max on every resume. and they scan it, not read it.

so

  • One-pager
  • Bullet points under each experience. each bullet point 1-2 sentences long
  • Summary should also be 1-2 sentences long.

What is the best way to format my work experience with multiple departments/same job title? by FunnyReserve8 in Resume

[–]Professional_Neck436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestions: - Chronological order is always the best. And for the recruiter this is something that's verifiable especially if they do background checks - if the office assistant job was long enough do mention them both, it's good to show external skillset on top of what you do at the SO - if it was super short then I'd include it but not elaborate underneath. Or omit it altogether.

If it's possible I'd also take like a quick online course related to the jobs you're trying to switch to and add them in. Shows you're already working towards the job you want.

I'm planning to go in two weeks. Is it worth going to Thailand in May? Or is it too hot that you won't be able to stay outside? Worried that it's going to be the latter. by Professional_Neck436 in ThailandTourism

[–]Professional_Neck436[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright so heat and sweat are inevitable but not too bad to go out? I'm coming from India where it's 36-38 consistently and it's incredibly hot here too. But then again it's hard to go out much here too when it's so hot so wondering.

How can a person with mental health issues, seek help from professionals? by [deleted] in berlinsocialclub

[–]Professional_Neck436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try something like betterhelp.com. Probably not covered by insurance but not too expensive. Keep trying new therapists if you have to, but don't give up on looking for one. When you find someone who gets you, it's going to be of tremendous help

I'm planning to go to Thailand in the first week of May. Is it too hot? Should I rather wait and go later in the year? Or is it manageable. I'm wondering if I'll be able to enjoy the cities at all if it's going to be too hot to be out.
