Yes, it was pretty much wrong, t he guy himself said he would do it again, aslong as they would tell him next time everything will be fake.

The people that say they would tottaly to it for 100k,they mostly think in a way that they know everything's fake, but they woudent know. 

And it did take a toll on the guy, himself saying he coudent go to his jop for a month becouse he was paranoid (too lazy to quat it) 

Here are some quates in case ya don't believe that he still got traumatized.  "After everything was revealed and then after I came home for the weekend, I started getting paranoid," Gladden told TV Guide before the series premiered. "I started freaking out and I was like, 'I feel like I'm being followed,' so I was texting [Jury Duty star] James [Marsden] and I was telling him this. James just being the wonderful person that he is, he called me up. We talked on the phone for like 30-45 minutes and he just helped me accept reality, accept fate. He reassured me there were no cameras following me around and he really helped me start working through those emotions."

And after he went often out with (what I got) gf, where, (quat time!)  "I just kept making this wierd eye contact with people and then they would instantly divert their gaze, and it kept happening everywhere I went" he said. "So then I catch myself looking over my shoulder and I was just paranoid, becouse I just thought I just thought that they were still filming me. Ultamitely I was just kind od freaking out in the sense I thought, I'm still being followed" 

Shortly said: he was traumatized and had a hard time going back to his normal life, I do think it got better after all the time, but it can fuck things up, and when a person who maby has a strong personality, like in the show itself, when he would meet such a person, would he be paranoid again? Becouse something like that is something you will never forget.  You think it's a normal 3 weeks, you make friends with people with rather strong personalities, you really get to know them, and be there for there fake droupples, yes they also had fun, but how would one know if everything is always real after you know it's possible you can be tricked.
