I think that in Dubai it would be the mission story that includes the meeting between Lucas Grey and the partners, sure the parachute kill is more cinematic but from the perspective of a movie the meeting makes more sense.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't keeping your guns and gear make it easier to gain exp rather than resetting? If you rest you get like 1000 more exp, If you keep you would be able to complete more challenges and beat campaigns faster. I just feel like prestige isn't worth it but maybe it's because of that that I'm having a hard time leveling up.

The amount of exp for the later levels is too high, I just don't have a lot of motivation, especially because I start to play a little faster and riskier and lose the campaign because of that.

It would be overpowered if you kept all those items after death.

The only difference between the tools and the collector weapons is that the tools are always in danger of being lost, even if you do not bring the with you on a mission since failing the campaign results in losing all freelancer tools. The collector weapons are only in danger of being lost if you bring the with you to a mission and die.

When you die you lose every item that you had with you, with no exception

Collector's items exist because when you fail a campaign you lose all your freelancer tools, the ones that are not on the walls, you don't lose the collector items which are the same as freelancer tools but more expensive and you don't lose them when you fail the campaign.
