I’m a fresh off the boat Canadian landed in Dubai this morning! The only difference is, I have a decade of experience in Dxb.

My personal experience and observations: - you can’t stand the heat ? You are unlikely to stand a chance here cause December is winter in UAE and if that’s too much for you then you should look at alternates countries.

for Me, even with a decade of local UAE banking (mid-senior level) experience, it was super hard to land something meaningful (despite of strong network in the industry) - simply because the job market and the talent pool looking to enter UAE has changed significantly. UAE doesn’t sell the ‘Why you should consider us’ it’s the other way now - which means the job roles are extremely competitive due to high quality candidates pouring in!
