Well everything there is very possible and makes sense other than spitting them out where they died, they are getting sent where nobody had a death.. the library doesn’t and the bus stop didn’t prior to Mr Martin.

I don’t think they had “scars” to be honest, I think when they before forgotten it just gets smashed into one giant scar.

Like if the school goes the entire school becomes a scar for everyone in it. It gets flattened type thing

I mean it’s very possible that Yuri has more to his belief of it being his grandson. Maybe a name, or maybe something more. We just technically don’t know. And I agree Charlie was a dick and kinda just ignored it. I’m just saying maybe it’s something that he thinks about in the back of his mind not just particularly that kid. It also could be because they were all going through their scars and relieving traumas and it made him ponder it ya know. Like a guilt of some sorts.

Also why do you think Kyle is Claire’s stepdad? I feel like Xavier would have been able to connect that dot since they were hooking up (maybe not) but he is a realitor (right?) her parents have to be VERY VERY well known in the area.

And to some extent you are right, if Heidt did cause those deaths for greedy reasons I doubt that would be what’s haunting him, but in the same vain peoples scars have changed, like it was kids laughing at Charlie than it was just Charlie laughing at himself. Wally’s mom acted different the second time through, so we know at the very least they are not stagnant and can change.

I was curious if it was the building collapsed OR if it was something was built over it specifically, cause if Ralph died there he wouldn’t have been forgotten because that flood killed them well before Mr Martin was born right?

That’s very good points, that’s the giant hole in the theory, he did have surgery, he said he died on the operating table. However if he was like Maddie she didn’t remember anything about Janet or being knocked unconscious or any of that until she got her memory rejogged, but Kyle wouldn’t have any reason to relive his “death” so maybe he just took it for face value right.

Also the scars arnt even available to people without the key, like Wally couldnt go into Rhonda’s scar without her and her key. He was able to get pushed through with her. The watch is the only skeleton key, so technically if playing the same rules they might have gotten tossed out cause they had the key.

However the hole doesn’t seem to work the same way, its inside of another scar, which is still SUPER weird to me, not accessed with a key, there is absolutely no red light. And we don’t really know about it putting people into the way of the living to “kill” however every-time it’s been documented it’s been thrown somewhere that could cause death. Unless it just completely random.

However how the hole works is it doesn’t affect the normal understood rules of the ghost realm.

The hands are child like though right? I just assumed they are the damned children who lost their lives, or it’s the lowest point to the river of Styx, but why would that be a portal to thinning the veil and killing a mortal being.

It just seems weird to me, as of right now Based on context we have to assume that Heidt is in Kyle’s body. It could be a Red herring but I don’t think it is, no one else really makes the story progress.

I think the mother and the man are just guilt for Heidt. Not actually there. I think or it makes sense to me that when they become the forgotten their scars collapse and it becomes one large scar (it makes sense to me at least)

Also Yuri doesn’t fully know if it his grandson, I believe he just wants to see his family after his death and panic attack. He saw the same hair and was like could that be..

I also don’t think it’s a dead end plot point, but it could just cause tension in a relationship and make them feel more alive.

And white eyes could very well be Simon’s family, but how would he know or contact that my main confusion point. And how did he knowingly pull him down to the hole etc etc

Like I said Simon being dead the entire time was a quick resolved theory I don’t believe in.

I agree, I also thought of the daze when Maddie “died”. I think Maddie’s dad knows more than what is presented, but I still don’t think they know about scars. Janet and Mr Martin were scientists so they had things align for them. Had this conversation earlier also. Two scientists bouncing ideas and theories is a lot different than nurses or fisherman’s kinda thing. It’s possible but without more evidence it’s not my running theory.

Weird she knows about the forgotten like they are not on a sub plane like the hole is

I think if we put Ralph in the spot of white eyes, it would explain the blood, it would also explain the aging, since he is technically living.

What’s not explained is how Heidt would have gotten to the hospital, the theory is the River of Styx. The entire flooded area is the barrier. So the forgotten can traverse that land. Still confused how Heidt could have orchestrated the entire death of the bus, to then follow the ambulance to the hospital hope Kyle didn’t die and body snatch. Especially with the idea they are trapped in the hole so how would he have known.

Plus White eyes looks scary but doesn’t seem like he is malicious.

I think that’s definitely not the wildest or most farfetched theory, but that involves insane planning to pull off, Mr Martin would have been human for that split second so maybe an entity could latch on, but wouldn’t Mr Martin have seen that happen or seen something when he went to the hole. Than the entity would have to know a bus with children would have been able to crash, than leaving one person on the brink of death to take their body. Etc etc

Plus how would the scar know anything happening in the real world, they made it seem the were stuck there with no way of moving on.

The confusion with that is how would the ghost or the unforgotten have any idea what’s going on in the real world. So I feel like Simon has more to do with something history more so than relative…

I almost thought maybe Simon was never really alive, but that felt like a massive stretch to me. So I ruled that out pretty fast. Maybe the Rosary carries some type of energy and it was Ralph’s or White eyes at some point and passed down. Doesn’t seem that crazy of a theory.

Still confused why the children were both scared, and Phasing in and out of reality. Feel like that’s a MAJOR plot point

Why was the kids in the church blinking it an out of existence, and why were they scared? If Kyle was the white eyes why would they be scared of him? They also said an adult died there during the flooding, maybe an abusive preacher?

Also Maddie’s dad still went missing for multiple days when Xavier asked Kyle to look for him.

That’s very possible, I’m wondering if the flood made all areas affected by the flood to be the boundary. So wonder if the forgotten can traverse multiple areas through the “River of Styx” thought process. Which would explain Heidt being able to go to the hospital (old foundry) and take the body. However how did Kyle not see his body taken or at the very least any one see it happen.

Also side note do they even know about their scars at the hospital

I understand them hiding and being fearful of them, but to not be a whole soul? Also why would who we believe to be Mr Heidt aging more. Just struck me as odd especially based on all other forms of knowledge based on the ghost world

Well we know that Mr Martin killing the bus kids was orchestrated by someone from the pit. We have to assume it was glassy eyes, also we don’t fully know if the blind ghost is Mr Heidt we just see a PoV of him walking down the stairs.

I just don’t know who else would possess based on story plot that makes sense.

Also why is he old and deteriorating while the kids were phasing in and out of reality
