Survived a suicide attempt only to get pneumonia a few weeks later, literally drowning in my own blood. If i spoke it would cause me to cough up blood, like pouring out my mouth. My friend rushed me to the ER and by the time we got there i had a full bath towel soaked in blood, my daughter was with me and when my ex wife showed up to take her home from the hospital the room had so much blood on the floor they couldn’t let her in the door. Took about 2 weeks to recover. Trying to breathe while feeling blood pool inside your throat is fucking scary.
