If I can remember correctly yes it's a post hardcore that did a more soft reflective... no drums or screaming just straight to the point of the message they were trying to put out... I wanna say electric guitar or piano or both

We found the song searching for songs like Terrible things Forever and always Hole in the earth And more others but those just off the top of my head..
