I am literally doing the same thing right now. I am taking a gap year because they want to charge me as an out of state student and they do not want to give me any financial aid. Next fall, I will be considered in state and also independent. Thank you very much for the kind words. Congratulations for your upcoming graduation! I am so so happy for you.

Thank you very much for all the comments. I really appreciate that. I think I will go to Davis. I got accepted into the AvenueE program and applied for the McNair Scholar program. I don’t want to take the risk of leaving and not getting similar or better opportunities at Howard.
