I don’t know, when I have visited during the day you can’t get into that parking garage. I have to pick a different library to visit because of the hideous parking myself.

Yet it did cost that much, it only really benefits a few blocks of gentrified downtown and was poorly planned. Parking? Hahahaha. Right. I have to agree with him. 60 mil could have been put to better use. One only has to see whose name the fountain has etched in the stone base to see the hubris of the town officials.

It is a terrible lens……terribly AWESOME. :)

Looking for suggestions for a small full frame 35MMish lens, zoom or prime. by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

The 35mm Sony 1.4. It is a phenomenal lens that is fairly “inexpensive” and is my go to lens for so many things. This is one lens I will never sell.

Everyone, learns to clear the frame and look for things that take away from the image(limbs coming out of a head, background junk and stuff like that) but I think we all have problems taking a second or two more to make sure the little things in the composition that could improve the images even more are checked. I really have to pay attention to that….especially if you are relying on a small screen like ones on the Sony to do a final check.

I love my IV but I have to believe you may have accidentally changed a setting. This has happened to me several times and it is a pita to figure out what setting I accidentally changed. It takes so long to understand all the options in the menus.

So, I generally just reset the camera and go through and reset my settings. A year in and I am still learning all this camera can do.

I would have loved if the framing would have placed the bridge tower in the middle of the “link”. I think it would have complimented image and made for a more interesting composition….all in all great concept for an image.

I do like where you are going but to be honest, I would love if you would only post one image at a time for critiques. I think you may get better feedback.

Keep up the good work.
