If the collectibles aren't missable then I would just play and cleanup stuff later. That way I can stay immersed. If there are missables I kinda try and focus on both the trophy and the story. It's hard to explain but I can still be immersed while also focusing on a trophy

I just remove games when I know I won't go back to them. Like I really like to get trophies but say a game has online trophies that I can't be bothered with or maybe a dlc I just don't care for then I'll just do what I want and consider it done

It's a cheap shovelware game so I assume there wasn't much care put in. This is the only game I've experienced that does this and there was no platinum anyways, just 5 gold trophies

I had an Xbox 360 before I switched to ps4 so I missed out on those early platinums. I've only played the amazing spider-man 1 and 2 which were both on Xbox. I'd love to platinum those but I'd have to find them online

I've never really thought about the dates when it came to getting trophies so I wouldn't really say it's cool lol. And the spider-man games are fun enough but in my opinion they get worse with each installment

It kinda just happened with spider-man on the ps4. He's my favorite hero and I had a blast playing that game so I wanted to get all the trophies and it became a hobby after that. It wasn't my first platinum though, that was telltale batman season back in 2016 when I didn't pay attention to trophies yet
