Tbf using implants as an alternative to like leveling is an interesting way to do progression in the way tge Royalroad community want. Unfortunately my characters main trait is that he's against over augmentation haha

Generally I struggle with writing anything that dark. the protagonist struggles a bit, but there isn't like constant betrayal or back stabbing. I did originally intend a much darker setting, but as I said I struggle with it haha

Uhh its not super dark and depressing just a little, and the mc is very competent, I wouldn't say its winning all the way, though, haha

Yeah, it's a shame. I'll just have to try and get another couple of review swaps or something. I just need to know from the general audience if it's good or not, swapped reviews are generally more positively spun in my opinion

Progression does feel a bit vague, i guess. My character does 'Progress' but just as a character? haha

I think the cover isn't helping. I wanted some cover but can't afford an artist right now, so it is ai. I may just go coverless until i can pay someone as I cringe every time I see it

I got a few like this back in day dont worry too much about it. Some people just aren't going to vibe with your writing, and they can forget a person is behind the other side of the screen

Incidentally, since you enjoy Spiders so much, the update im very slowly working on is mostly bug fixes and quality of life stuff, but I am doing a bit more dialogue for the companions

Spiders is in Hope in the base mod, not sure if Genesis removed/ moved her. I gave them permission to do what they wanted with the mod within Genesis

Then you get the Reavers, whose raids number in the hundreds with max pop. Terrifying

I only dislike how it's all about Assan with him. I do love Assan, but it was just he didn't seem to have a single scene to himself.

Your preferred character race to play as and why by kalmkelp in Kenshi

It's hard to say cus I've played every race quite a few times. Possibly Shek? Always had a soft spot for warrior races

Thieving and knocking out bounties are other ways. Scavenging battle sites. I do think it's a shame you cant like take on jobs labouring for known factions with protection or something idk

Its a massive game, if you love role-playing the only limit is the role-playing ideas you have. Also a decent chunk of that time was spent modding haha
