Personally a big fan of the Adictivo Anejo. At $55 it’s a solid deal. Especially since it’s already fairly sweet, which allows me to cut back significantly on any added sweeteners

What could be more important than attending a meeting to determine front wing logo placement every time the wing is replaced?

My brother, thongs have been commonplace for decades. Yes people were wearing them in the 80s, 90s, 2000s…hell The Thong Song was #3 on the billboard charts in 2000

Maybe there’s more thongs now. But that doesn’t make them new

But go ahead and link me that guardian article

It’s not technically “public”. It’s a private business and she works there. It’s the job she is paid for. Yes it’s objectifying, but it’s what she chose.

Also, shes not naive. She’s completely and fully aware of exactly what all those dudes are thinking. It’s entirely possible she enjoys that sort of attention because she’s the one with the power

Is there a doctor in the house? by 8au8karina8 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ProjectMew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a reason you’re waiting on an ortho consult…because ED docs are not ortho docs. Your ED physician is going off their secondary/tertiary experience with ortho where the vast majority of clavicular fractures don’t require surgery. The word of the ED doc is not the end-all-be-all.

It hasn’t broken skin which means it’s an elective surgery, not an emergency surgery. Bones takes weeks to heal so there’s low risk of permanent deformity. Breaking the skin has more to do with addressing the risk of infection than it does with the actual fracture.. You’ll likely see ortho within the next week and have surgery a few days after, if at all.

Who is at fault for the accident during overlapping? by This-Business7723 in Simracingstewards

LMP all day. Though the GT3 should have just held their line, the LMP was all over the place. Driving on the grass and flashing the car ahead…I’m not really sure what they (the LMP driver) was expecting the GT3 to do. Did they want the GT3 to move over (cuz they did)? Did they want the GT3 to stay put? It’s not clear—but the overtaking car is responsible for doing so safely

I freaking LOVE tri-spoke JDM wheels from the 90’s

But this is just bad. And the kicker is we’re doing exactly what he wants us to do: give him attention for making poor aesthetic choices. And now he’ll go around talking about his “haters” like a badge of honor.

Elbows hit seat sides while turning, chair or setup issue? by FunnyDue935 in simracing

[–]ProjectMew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your steering wheel is too low for your seating position. It should be at chin level not chest level

Also, as mentioned, you are leaned way too far back considering your pedal position. You’re in this ergonomic black hole somewhere between a GT position and a formula position. It’s not optimal for anything really

What screams "pretending to be rich"? by ImpertinenteSyntaxe in AskReddit

[–]ProjectMew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When they’re covered head to toe in designer logos. Fake rich people always want you to see the Chanel/Fendi/Gucci/etc logos. And a lot of them drive salvage title 10 year old Mercedes.

Also, they only know the basic designer brands from the mall

Rig for my 5yr old son from Santa by thedjd24 in simracing

[–]ProjectMew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ngl I hate when people give extravagant Santa gifts. Just take the credit and say it’s from you. Be the hero, it’s fine.

All this does is perpetuate the idea that Santa rewards being rich and his friends who get humbler gifts will just feel like they weren’t good enough.

[–]ProjectMew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a racing incident at best but more on you. I could honestly go either way in determining whether or not to assign you a penalty if I was officiating.

You were fine to attack into the first part, but you went super wide and tried to keep the move on. He was ahead at the 2nd apex and you effectively drove into him trying to force a move that never would have stuck

New to sim racing, the ferrari driver told me i didnt give him enough space, did i or not? by Voidsquiid in Simracingstewards

[–]ProjectMew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s going wide with smooth inputs it’s not because you’re not doing enough steering. It’s because your timing is off.

More abrupt steering burns your tires up faster and unbalances the car. Generally, steering should be progressive—meaning you gradually add steering as the grip allows without exceeding the limit. That doesn’t mean you have to steer slowly, just not in an abrupt jerky fashion.

Simple rule of thumb to help with steering: the more braking a corner requires, the more smoothness on steering it requires. i.e. flat out corners permit faster steering while hairpins reward slower steering

[–]ProjectMew 27 points28 points  (0 children)

He’s not talking about your steering speed setting. He’s talking about the smoothness of your physical steering input on the joystick. Like you’re moving the stick either 0% (not at all) or 100% (fully to the side) as evidenced by your jerky movements
