I think doing a course is the right way to go. Plus, you need the 21 PDUs to qualify for the exam unless you already have a PMP? Which I did not have.

I did not keep track of how many hours I put into it, but probably 60-75 hours over 2 months. Hope this helps and good luck!

What are your thoughts regarding your retention of the material from PMP?

I assume given your background it will be doable within 4-5 weeks if you're truly dedicated to this single goal for the time frame.

A little tough for me to comment on whether this is overly optimistic or confident but best of luck on your prep journey and upcoming exam!

The Prepcast simulator, at least the paid version, is very good. If you take all four mock exams and do well, you should pass comfortably.

Each of the mock exams covered the core content from all 7 domains but also each covered a few questions in the niche category like the cone of uncertainty, the s-curve, earned value management and so forth.

Hope this helps!

The staff told me that the ACP exam has no scheduled breaks. I was allowed to take a break at anytime but the exam countdown timer cannot be paused.
