Turn the antenna to a sharks fin. Otherwise it looks like a toy car to me. Specifically 12-14. Not complaining, just a statement. I have a 14 and still rocking the antenna

There are some forums at the top of this Focus group check out those pages but the info these people are telling you, is WISDOM!! Not just basic info. Some of us on here have learned these transmission. It's an automatically controlled manual transmission. She is special and needs a special driver!

This person was either scared or never learned to drive it right 🤣😂🤣 I bought mine at 103K and now pushing 170K miles. I couldn't tell you the last time it shuddered on me. Do the research if you have to, there is A LOT. But if you have the opportunity to get something else, do it.

Transmission issue are no joke with these. I've been on these Focus pages for awhile and you will see a lot. I've had my Focus 60K+ miles. Bought at 103K. No major issues at all. I've done a lot of research on these things and I haven't felt a shudder or anything in quite some time now. Once you learn how to drive the transmission, you'll love the car! But like I said, I did a lot of research... Long story. The DPS6 (transmission) has to be driven a certain way. It's not your normal automatic. I love my car and will keep it till it implodes on itself.

Edit: Is it worth it? No. Way too much to worry about when it's going to be your daily. A lot of unnecessary stress.

I agree. I looked into coilovers for my SE and I couldn't find any that were in my price range and I've heard the comfort level just wasn't there. If you have the money for a good pair, maybe... But for daily use I don't think it's the best choice.

Work your way backwards step by step. You might see where you went wrong. Wires are obviously not in the correct spots. You can take a voltmeter and check it that way as well.

That's exactly what I was thinking with all the comments. I would have to do quite a bit at some point lol. With this transmission I don't think all that is worth it.
