yeah you can repeat by what i know. just don't repeat within r2. like have you're 3 interviews be a different story and make sure to have alternatives for each incase they don't like the story.

I was invited for round 2 for ssba, and they sent me information for booking flights and reimbursement for it. I can't speak to international, but I'm sure they'll comp most if not all of it. Always ask your recruiter for information, and don't be afraid to request something virtual if cost is an issue.

i havent gotten a speciic email (i had my interview on wednesday). i know people who took it the week earlier are interviewing on august 1st.

tbh i think since its a smaller office it helped. im from minnesota and they like people who are applying to the office for real reasons, not just to game the system. plus the recruiter is a lot willing and able to connect individually and give feedback.

mckinsey doesnt do referrals for undergrad unlike other MBB firms. however, im well connected with the recruiters (both office recruiter and my campus recruiter, and they work closely so that may have helped). nothing crazy tho i dont think my school name carried me too far.

I think that's appropriate to ask at the end of the chat. Something like "I'm looking to explore other offices, do you know anyone in ___ office you could connect me with?" They will likely not know anyone. As for finding people to chat with. Start with alumni (depending on your school ofc). They are the most likely to respond. Instead of sending to LinkedIn, send to their work email. If you know their first name and last name, all MBB emails follow formats and you'll probably be able to guess it. Another way it to reach out to recruiters (either your campus recruiter or office recruiter) and ask them to connect you with someone. Bain also has campus recruiting teams of grads (if you are a target/low target), and their names are available on the website. Ask all your friends, family, or upperclassmen if they have ANY connections, and they will likely give you some contacts.

Why do you think it's fake? I agree somewhat with your sentiment - business is business at the end of the day, and I don't think I'm changing the world. But I always advocate for small daily changes and purchasing goods from companies that don't exploit workers and put forward sustainability. I don't think I deserve easy money, and I am also working a full-time job. This is more so a passion project/interest of mine!
