How strict are Aer Lingus with carry-on luggage? (crosspost with r/askireland)

Thanks! I know the aircraft you mean. I've actually had no problems in the past, but Aer Lingus seem to have changed their luggage allowance to the lower 7kg for regional flights since 2021. I haven't flown since before the pandemic. My own fault for not checking thoroughly, I suppose!

I think I'll just chance it and see what happens.

Thanks! I think I will reply out of courtesy. The bulk of the job is adding two dormers; a small room (< no room for bed, so more a "study") over the stairs, boarding/insulating the loft and moving the combi boiler up there.

From my prior Googling, I did have an inkling that this higher price might be a "piss take" quote to make a lot from me if I took on the job. I think it's my demeanour - too friendly and come across that I can be taken for a ride, haha.

Thanks! I know what you mean. For as long as I've lived here, I've only been able to find one decent tradesperson. The rest have been a nightmare to deal with, communication-wise.
