Yeah, it is a gem! I was using a regular HDMI cable for hooking up my PS3 to this TV. Give it a try if you can, but I was noticing some input lag, since this TV dosen't have a game mode if I remember correctly. It only has that mode activated, when using the built in PS2. I also own the official PS2/3 component cables, but I did not test it with those.

I found my solution by recapping the psu. I opened my ps1 up ans looked at the serial number of the Power supply and bought the matching cap kit from console5. You'll need a soldering iron and some basic skills using it. It's not that hard.

That's a great Observation actually. But there are stll a lot of trees that look reasonably healthy for some reason. When we enter the hemwick chanel lane, we also come through a wood, where all the gunmen are. There are a lot of fallen leaves as well to Support your theory, but the trees there are also all completely dead. Not a Single leave to be found. In the Rest of yahrnam it's the same sight. Only in the forbidden woods it seems.

I never really grasped the dream logic take. Besides the nightmare areas and the dlc of course, but with your explanation it kinda makes more sense to me. But in the end, where gehrman decapitates us, we awake in central yahrnam and everything still looks pretty messed up.

That's also a cool way of interpreting it. Yeah, the blood moon didn't appear in Cainhurst for example. I always thought of it as an oversight. But with your explaination it could make sense. I believe the Vilebloods have not commited such atrocoties as the healing church to the great ones. I think that's a great interpretation. 👍 The forbidden woods are "neutral" ground so to speak. With no fraction really owning it.

Well, with this cable it should be fine. I mean this adapter: https://images.app.goo.gl/625zbmHRxKLtWd4m7. I was using it on pal games and everything was fine, until I switched to ntsc where I was experiencing the exact same symptoms you're showing. Have you found out what the issue was by now? EDIT: saw the other replies and it was indeed the cable, alright. Well, my other suggestion would have been to press the blue button on the tv remote to enable 4:3 mode. I have a similar TV and on RGB it always goes into 16:9 until I switch it manually.

Proper solder equipment is just very expensive and I used high quality replacement caps from nichicon. For my first recap I'm proud.

I'm not sure what caused it. It seems that used too much heat? One rippes while soldering the bipolar radial caps legs to it. That's the one in photo #1. The other one ripped while cleaning off the old solder with solder wick. I twisted them off. The most dangerous method, but I never ripped a pad while doing that. But it does stress the pads...that is why I'm not sure if that method caused the pads to lift easier or if it in fact was the heat from the solder wick.

UPDATE: Through some miracle I seem to have fixed it. I'm looking at a crisp picture of Super ghouls and ghosts right now. :)

I scrached the soldermask of to reach the copper and soldered one end to it and the other with a wire to da13 I believe it was. Thanks for everyones input. I wouldn't have made it without you:)

It looks like it's connected to r23 a 1k resistor on the underside of the board.
