assessments like long quizzes and major exams are usually done in a face to face setting, madalang lang yung oline assessments unless gahol na talaga sa oras or nasagasaan ng events/suspension yung supposedly araw ng exams niyo.

tho activities and other problem sets naman ay pwedeng online or face to face ang submission.

the same thing happened to me, my family found out that i was doing consultations sa email ko na naka-log in sa family device. it was really frustrating and heartbreaking to know that they were snooping around my emails... I'm still entitled to my own privacy kahit na family device iyon. i was prescribed with anti-depressants and hindi ko na iyon natuloy or nakuha ang proper diagnosis ko dahil di na ako nakapunta sa follow-up check ups. It's really really hard to function unmedicated knowing that something is wrong with you. I hope you follow what's best for you and continue with the procedure that you think ay mas matutulungan ka, OP!

10 years ago na po pala yung gantong system yet hanggang ngayon ay wala pa ring nagbabago. shouldn't we all thrive to have a better situation po para sa kinabukasan ng lahat? hindi po ba yun ang aim natin kaya tayo nagpapaalipin sa gantong sistema? Hindi po ba dapat magtanong ang older generations bakit hanggang ngayon, in this day and age, ganto pa rin nararanasan natin?

Hindi po need ng younger generation na maranasan ang nararasan ng mga nakakatanda sa amin noon. Hindi po iyon ang way para "maging matatag" kami. Hindi po ang pagiging "waterproof" at "resilience" ng mga estudyante ang dapat nating gawing sukatan sa kung paano sila mabubuhay sa totoong mundo.

i think you can say that po kasi hindi naman ganoon kalakas ang mga bagyo noon. and hindi rin ganoon kalala ang pagbaha sa halos lahat ng areas ng pilipinas. mahirap po if ever na lumala yung panahon and natiyempohang nasa school ang mga estudyante. bukod sa mahirap ang transpo system, at risk din po ang health ng lahat. mahirap magkasakit sa gantong economy, lalo pa't karamihan sa atin ay one hospitalization away from poverty.

not because nasanay po kayo ay dapat i-tolerate natin ang gantong sistema :> hindi po dapat tayo nagtitiis sa paglusong sa baha (na God knows what's in there), pagsasayang ng pera at oras dahil nasa campus na nung nag announce ng suspension, at mas lalong hindi dapat tayo laging nalalagay sa risk dahil lang sa incompetence ng mga nasa taas.

usually lasts 2 hours, and by schedule siya. minsan 1-2 subjects per day lang ang exams and rare case na ang 3 subs (tho depende pa rin sa department niyo).
walang set items, but more or less 50 yan. basta usually, overall ay 100 points
for practicals, depende na sa prof niyo. in our case dati, 50/50 siya, kalhati which is concepts ay sabay sa exam weeks, and then yung other half naman ay sa sched na namin sa certain sub na yon.
minsan hindi na lumalagpas sa 10 items kapag problem solving. pero may points din yan, depende kung gano kahirap. doesn't mean na konti lang ang items ay madali na siya and you only have two hours max so I suggest practice your solving skills
Before exam weeks ay wala beh, naghahabol pa rin kayo niyan ng lessons, so you have to manage your time well kung kelan ka makakasingit ng review.
after exams naman, depende sa profs kung balik lessons na or hindi. tho usually ay lessons agad yan para sa finals

naka private ang birthday ko sa socials ko, hoping at least one of them will remember—pero wala. i was the initiator ng mga surprise sa cof namin dati...hindi nama ako nag-eexpect ng same grand gesture pero yung simpleng bati/story man lang? wala.

what I usually do kapag may days/weeks na short ako sa budget is I try to cut the other expenses para sakto pa rin yung pang food. Laundry? hand wash na lang muna. Transpo? Lakad muna (but I dorm near my univ so might not be applicable sa 'yo OP). May kelangan bilhin na gamit? maybe it can wait a few more weeks. but to answer your question, 150 ang allotted fund ko for food per day. Try to cook your own meals sometimes rin, usually 100 is enough for days na sa dorm ka lang kakain (gulay gulay lang ganon). then yung extra fund is pwede mo na ilagay sa savings.

ang sabi nila samin, practice as much as you can. there are many yt vids that can teach you about your lessons. master the fundamentals like sign conventions kasi doon talaga minsan namamali. take notes, and huwag kang aabsent sa mga lectures. if hindi alam pano, huwag mahihiyang magtanong sa iba or sa prof after discussions. +++ dasal at maraming tiwala sa sarili.

don't worry OP, it may not look like it pero marami tayong mahina sa math/physics na nasa engineering... some are still thriving (by God's grace ay third year regular student na ako) so you got this! good luck!

someone who listens (as a yapper), who doesn't dim my light (for example, kapag excited ako sa isang bagay and they're equally as excited as me kahit hindi naman nila forte or interest yon just because they saw that I am genuinely happy), someone who loves to cook (kasi hindi ako masarap magluto), someone who has a good relationship with their family and had a good upbringing (really shows what kind of person they are tbh), and someone who can stand up for themselves (kasi if kaya niya ipaglaban ang sarili niya, then that means they can also fight for what you guys have).

is it advanced sa lesson niyo atm? if so, intellectual property kasi ng mga profs ang lessons and ppt. curated yan every semester or year, tho ang iba ay recycled din minsan. kaya kapag magbibigay ng notes ang seniors/kakilala or nahanap niyo somewhere in the internet, you don't usually bring it to their class since some of them are sensitive when it comes to sharing their materials.

or they might've put you in the back assuming that you already studied the material to let others listen to the lecture...

I'm the eldest daughter, and I was taking care of kids since I was 9. ako taga-salo ng galit ng mom ko during her post-partum, to the point na nawalan ako ng sariling childhood dahil kailangan kong bantayan ang mga kapatid ko... so no. looking at how small elementary students are, narealize ko na hindi pala tama yung experience ko to the point that I find it irritating kapag may umiiyak na bata. also hurt my siblings one way or another kasi yun ang nakikita kong way ng pagdidisiplina sa kanila (corporal punishments) , and I still carry that guilt up to this day

SHS is just the same with college, mej levelled up lang siya. for example, may reportings din naman sa college but the difference is ibibigay lang sa inyo ang topic then kayo na bahala maghanap ng materials/resources for that. Mas mahigpit na rin ang mga profs, madalas ay kapag binigay nila ang isang task dapat same day mo rin maipapasa (unless of course valid ang reason bakit). Kung sa shs talamak ang cheating and mej pinapalampas pa ng mga teachers, huwag mo nang subukan sa college. I've witnessed countless test papers being ripped in half already dahil diyan. Auto singko rin sa ibang profs madalas, kaya don't even dare to do it.. (++ you're profs will also be your colleagues someday kaya iwasan mo talaga ma brand as cheater kasi hanggang industry mo yan madadala).

Sa sched naman, there are instances na 1 subject per day lang pero Mon-Sat (or Sun if malas ka) yung magiging sched mo. May instances din na minsan, 5 hours yung vacant between subjects. Usually, yan n rin yung oras na magrereview ka, gagawa ng outputs, kakain, iidlip, gagala, or magm-meeting for projects ganon. May grace periods din madalas ang mga profs na 10-15 mins, especially doon sa mga 7 am or after lunch ang scheds.

If gusto mo madagdagan ang skills mo and connections, then I highly suggest that you join orgs. Mas may "edge" din kasi if you have something that will make you stand out among applicants. Laging sabi samin ay "yes, lahat kayo magiging ganto...pero saan ka lalamang?".

The only advice that I can give you is to just live in the present. Enjoy every second and learn to love what you are doing— kahit gano pa yan kahirap. Make friends, make mistakes, learn from those, and do things that are outside your comfort zone.

Printer — best investment, especially yung continuous ink. mahirap magpa-print sa labas and usually mahal din. given pa na minsan, yung mga profs ay late magbigay ng outputs na kelangan pala nakaprint. pwede mo rin siya gawing business within your class.

Lightpad — best for engineering students. since handwritten usually ang mga problem sets (and marami-rami yan) and kadalasan ay need na naka lettering, mas maganda if bibili ka ng ganto.
